Stunning place for a quiet get away, kids will love it too

点评：We stayed in The Courtyard property within the hall grounds. We stayed with two young children and it was brilliant if you want a complete quiet getaway. The boys could play outside without worry and reasonable ball games were allowed. We also had our dog with us and I'd highly recommend it for dogs. We have a well behaved dog who is used to being off the leash and it was brilliant for that. You can walk round the beautiful gardens but also just behind the carpark is a large field where he could run and run. Absolutely loved it. The lady who owns the hall and gardens was so lovely and helpful. There's a small coffee shop on site for cake and coffee but check opening times.
If you want to head out with children then I'd highly recommend walby farm park which is 20 mins away. Outdoor animals to feed including, red deer, horned cattle, llamas etc. there's a huge indoor play area and indoor animals with a huge wooden battlements for running around and cannon ball shooting and slides. In addition there are tractor rides, safari jeeps, go karts. It's not cheap but we spent the whole day there with a picnic.
