Clifton Suspension Bridge Museum的点评
点评：We’d already visited the Museum a few times, there’s always something new to look at, as they seem to be constantly improving the displays. Lots of button pushes and a colouring table for children too.
However our trip today was to do the hard hat tour of the underground vaults.
After a thorough health and safety briefing we donned our hard hats and high vis jackets. After walking down a path, we descending a short vertical ladder, not half as scary as they make it sound in the description, to reach the entrance to the vault. As you enter and look up, it’s almost breathtaking, the very idea that Victorian engines built this and it had laid undisturbed for years, makes you feel like you’re touch history.
Our two tour guides were very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, not just following a script but able to answer questions and gearing their banter to include all the different ages of our group.
