Victoria Bar的点评
点评：The Vic is legendary in the area, and much further beyond.
Probably the very oldest Pub in Gourock. It was originally the George Hotel (so 18th century). In the first Newspaper Published in Greenock in 1804 the "George" was up for sale and described as a "Long established Inn with stables, the present owner is retiring after 27 years."
I wish the beer prices stayed the same but you would be hard pushed to find such friendly, attentive staff ANYWHERE.
The acoustic Monday Music nights are the very best on the West Coast of Scotland - A high bar to traverse.
There is the ubiquitous Sports T.V. during any Football fixture. However, it's not overwhelming if you just want a quiet drink.
To be honest there are another two bars in this wee town I'd rate as highly and I keep up my "membership" in all.
The Vic, however is special for it's longevity and History.
