Lively Parque with a good vibe and interesting features

点评：Monday 10th November we visited this beachfront park in Playa del Carmen. It is located off Avenida Juarez near the Cozumel Ferry Pier.
The most striking feature of the Parque is the massive 16 metres, over 52 feet high, Mayan Portal (reviewed separately) along the beach front.
The Parque is laid out over a number of levels of paved areas framed by stone walls. Street vendors had laid their goods out across the walls
There is a small terracotta tiled bandstand which is used by musicians and performers. It is a vibrant hub with daily entertainment and street performers along with vendors walking around selling snacks.
There were a number of bars and restaurants nearby the Parque.
It is a popular meeting point due to it’s proximity to the Pier and Quinta Avenida.
Although there was no entertainment or performers there was a lively vibe about the Parque.
