点评：Car park is £5 Altho free for blue badge holders. . Had the best 4/5 hrs there and have every intention of going again! The underground experience was a highlight which was £5 on the day or £8 if you book in advance to guarantee the time you want to go down! The rest of the buildings and exhibits are free. The guide on the underground experience was Emma and she was FANTASTIC!! She was so knowledgable and made it interesting and fun! She also spoke a bit of french for a couple of French kids on our tour!! Nice touch!! The underground experience was eye opening!!! We don’t know how good we have it these days!! The rest of the grounds and exhibits were great particularly the King Coal experience and the baths building! All the staff there seemed really friendly and happy to chat and share knowledge. The Cafe was fine, no more expensive than other similar places and the gift shop had a wide range of gifts and momento’s and overall I thought reasonably priced! The lady in the gift shop was very friendly and good fun!! Overall I think a must do outing but make sure the weather is good as if the weather is poor it’d be a different story!!
