Cool to see but windy as hell

点评：This is one of those must-see spots in Iceland, and even though our experience was a bit mixed, it was still pretty cool to visit. The scenery is dramatic and definitely lives up to the hype but the conditions can be intense. The wind was absolutely brutal when we went, to the point where one of the nearby rental cars actually had its back window blown out, which was wild to see.
The beach itself ended up being closed due to the wind and high tide, so we couldn’t fully explore it, which was disappointing. Still, just seeing it from a distance was impressive.
One downside was the parking it cost about €10, which felt steep considering we were only there for around half an hour. That said, there are some useful facilities like a café and restrooms, which is a plus.
Overall, I’d still recommend going because it’s such a unique place just make sure to check the weather and be prepared for some extreme conditions.
