点评:On arrival, the horrible waft of fish came out to us. If my husband had been with me, he would have turned right around and walked off
Luckily, he wasn't.
I pretended not to notice as I was bringing my work colleague here for the first time.
We queued for several minutes despite there being at least 6 empty, unreserved tables.
The staff were a bit too eager to take our order, obviously not recognising how extensive the wine/drinks list and complicated menu we hd to trawl through.
After assessing the menu indepth we came to realise there were only a few dishes that weren't fish.
Neither of us were interested in the fish, mainly because each dish had so many elements that there was always one bit we didn't like.
In the end, I settled for the light dish, chicken mini fillets with fries.
3 would have been plenty, but 4? I struggled. I'd never order this much as a starter/light dish. True, it was cooked fine.
My colleague ordered ceasar salad. Never in her life had she eaten it with anchovies as standard.
We both agreed the meals had been prepared correctly so the chef input was not the issue.
The menu was. Unlikely to return, unless it's for breakfast.

三块就够了,四块?我有点吃不下了。我从来不会点这么多作为开胃菜/清淡菜。没错,菜做得挺好。
我的同事点了凯撒沙拉。她这辈子都没吃过里面放凤尾鱼的凯撒沙拉。
我们都认为菜做得没问题,所以厨师的水平应该没问题。
问题出在菜单上。除非是吃早餐,否则不太可能再来了。
