Great water park but safety an issue
Aquatica Water Park的点评
点评：We had a brilliant day at Aquatica Water Park. The park was very clean, with plenty of varied slides to keep both our daughters, aged 12 and 7, and my thrill-seeking husband entertained. Plenty of seats with shade for Mum.
A particular highlight was the wonderful service from Benedict and Alex at the café. Our eldest daughter unfortunately banged her head on a metal pole, and they were incredibly kind and attentive. They quickly provided ice to help with the swelling and made sure she was okay. They are both a real credit to the water park. Food was delicious too.
Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for some of the lifeguarding. On one occasion, the lifeguard’s attention was diverted elsewhere, leaving nobody supervising the bottom of the slides. During that time, our youngest daughter was hit from behind by other people coming down. Had someone been monitoring the slide and ensuring people were spaced out safely, this could likely have been prevented.
We also saw lifeguards using their phones and wearing earphones while on duty. This is extremely concerning in an environment where their full attention could prevent a serious accident. If staff need to attend to something elsewhere, another lifeguard should take over before the area is left unsupervised.
We had a fantastic time overall, but the lifeguarding and safety procedures need urgent attention. Personal phones and earphones should not be used by staff responsible for supervising water attractions.
