Good Challenging Hike Close to Gibsons, Spectacular View

点评：There are many great places to go hiking on the Sunshine Coast, and this is one I would highly recommend for someone who wants a good, safe uphill hike adventure with a spectacular view at the top. Good hiking shoes are handy as there's a few rugged parts. And when it's steep it's very steep, but I wouldn't say it's super long. We took a few breaks and sipped some water and we were fine. We were lucky to see Eagles and Ravens flying near to us at the peak's viewpoint, but sadly I wasn't fast enough to get a picture.
The steps to the top were well built and maintained. We hiked up one trail and down the other.
If you're staying at a place in Gibsons, an entrances to Soames Hill Park will probably a reasonable walk from where you are, or a quick bus trip will get you close. If you're going by car, the parking lot on Esperanza Road is small and the road there has lots of large pot holes. You might want to consider parking at Shirley Macey park instead.
