点评：We booked a premium wine tasting and tour a month in advance and planned our activities in Tuscany around it. The morning of, just hours before our 2:30 p.m. reservation, they emailed to cancel. Of course, the whole point of vacation is not to be checking emails so we did not see the cancellation. When we arrived, they said it was because they had a private event (which they must have known about days or weeks earlier because the Chef for the event was staying at our hotel). As it was the off season, many wineries in the area were closed. They did not offer to make us a reservation elsewhere, or offer us somewhere to sit so that we could find somewhere else to go on such short notice. Even a glass of wine as an apology would have gone a long way and cost them nothing for ruining our day. The only accommodation they made was to try move our tasting to two days later (after we had left Tuscany).
