点评：This taxidriver, owner of Alpha Transportation Services, is an extremely aggressive and dangerous scamming taxidriver. Grossly overcharged a trip from Dutch to French side (a 10min trip), pushed for the return trip on a 20min alert for the same overpriced amount, reached there in 10min instead while my family of 5 (teenagers and young adults) were still on their after dinner drinks, eventually still waited for 15min, made an issue about that (I told him he could leave if he’s pressed for time), waited of course for the easy money, back at so-called 5-star Port de Plaisance resort suddenly added a ridiculous surcharge for the ‘waiting’ and went on a ridiculous tantrum in the lobby of this, again, so-called 5 star resort when I refused to pay the surcharge. The guy, obviously a gym fanatic, was waving his fingers in front of me, getting in my face and threatening me in an extremely loud voice in front of my family and front desk personnel who didn’t react at all. On my repeated request to the front desk to call security (at this point it’s not even about the money), a DEI senior citizen ‘security’ guard limps in and I knew immediately I was in trouble. Eventually, my 17yr old son paid the surcharge to de-escalate things and this ‘taxidriver’ was still screaming at the top of his voice. Meanwhile, front desk personnel (they called the taxi for us in this gated run-down joke of a resort with dead centipedes in the bathrooms) did absolutely nothing. Shame on them. Shame on this aggressive taxidriver who utterly ruined everybody’s day for 15 bucks. Shame on a gated resort for working with these scammers all the while giving a beautiful island (Grand Case is absolutely gorgeous) a bad name.
