Mixed experience on our Corfu Cruises experience to Paxos

点评：Our experience on the cruise to Paxo was a little mixed to be honest.
Firstly to comment regarding the general vibe on board, the trip attracted a large element of younger groups which in not what we had really anticipated. On the trip back to Corfu, the top deck was turned into a ‘party boat’ with a DJ set etc which is not mentioned in the online marketing of the cruise and to be honest would have put us off booking in the first place. Thankfully the lower deck was kept a little quieter, but still generally quite noisy.
Also, the day itself was incredibly long and tiring - we were picked up from our resort at 7am and got back around 7.30pm. Of those 12 / 13h I would say at least 8 hours was spent travelling (5h on the boat and 3h on the coach).
The swimming in the sea around the island was nice but somewhat manic with the sheer number of people.
Paxos itself though was incredible and so so beautiful and picturesque. Some amazing architecture. Unfortunately we just didn’t have enough time to explore it a little more - we had just 2h 15m and a couple more hours would have been ideal.
To summarise I’d say Paxos was just superb, the rest of the trip though for us wasn’t as it is portrayed online in the marketing.
