点评:We stayed at lake Wister state park in cabin 4. The cabins are well-worn but clean. Our cabin had a wall AC unit, fireplace, fire pit and chairs, bbq grill (but was too rusted to use) and a large picnic table. The kitchen had an oven/range, microwave, coffee pot, full sized fridge, and toaster. The shower didn’t have a light and the shower is quite small, but that was really my only complaint about the cabin. Even in the duplex cabin, we rarely heard our neighbors.
One big complaint we have is more about the parks system rather than lake Wister specifically - we wish you weren’t forced to book three nights during holidays. For people who work, it’s difficult to book our entire weekend away from home - not all of us are retired or have loads of time off available. So we essentially have to rush to check in to the park Friday after work then rush home Sunday to unpack and do laundry then go back to work the next day. That’s not fun. And it’s not feasible for parks that are farther away.
