Three days in Sapa with Trinh

点评：We booked Tinh for three private tours during our stay in Sapa. She shared lots of information with us about the culture of the traditional tribes who live in the area. Trinh was happy to answer all our questions as we toured around. We loved our hike down to the villages through the mud and recommend hiking shoes for this if you are leaving the path with Trinh. It was great to learn about crops grown and farming methods. There was lots of opportunity to take some amazing photos as Trinh guided us.
We visited Heaven's Gate on a very foggy and windy day. Even though we couldn't see way down into the distant valley it was magical with the fog! Trinh's local knowledge ensured that we saw views of the mountains and into the valley below. Lots of other tourists walked over to the lookout and left when they couldn't see anything. We actually saw a lot when the wind cleared the fog. Take your time to do this and not rush. Walk around the whole area. It is worth it.
We were unlucky during our time in Sapa to get foggy days (of course it cleared when we went to catch the bus), but Fansipan was also worth the visit. Trinh was great during this trip as well.
We loved Trinh's sense of humour and had lots of laughs during our time spent with her and would highly recommend Trinh as a guide. Thank you Trinh for making our time in Sapa so enjoyable!
