点评：A touching and rich exhibition in an airy, light and charming space. We initially went in because the doors were open so we could see the building looked attractive and the mixed media exhibition had some textile pieces. We were so engaged by the work on show we had to go back the next day to explore the exhibition further and were privileged to meet two of the artists - Chantal Vilette and Fabien Faure. Their collaboration exploring dance is rhythmic, dynamic and joyful but I was moved by Chantal's presentation of her parents through textile art linking photographs, words and objects on items of clothing with stitch and by Fabien's memory paintings where the focus is not on the general haziness of ageing memory but on the joy and richness of moments of memory which emerge with sudden brightness.
