A wonderful tour of the Cotswolds

点评：We had a brilliant experience with Cotswolds Tours and Travel and would highly recommend. My daughter wanted to explore the Cotswolds for her 17th birthday weekend and as we’d never been to that part of the UK before, we didn’t know where to stay, and what to see to make the most of our short stay. All we knew is that we enjoyed watching Clarksons Farm! Eddie recommended a bespoke Clarksons Farm tour which sounded great. A few days before we were due to arrive, the weather forecast looked dreadful and snow may have made the tour impossible. Katie at Cotswolds Tours and Travel kept us fully updated and suggested alternative dates, lengths of tours etc. Her communication with us was excellent. In the event, the snow wasn’t as bad as the forecasters had predicted and the tour went ahead as planned.
Mark was our tour guide and he was fantastic - impossible to fault. He arrived early, was interesting, funny, highly knowlegable and relaxed - everything you want in a tour guide. He took us to Broadway Tower, Diddly Squat Farm (just as Jeremy Clarkson and Lisa turned up - perfect timing, Mark!) , the Farmers Dog Pub, and several beautiful villages, breweries, places of interest. It was a phenomenal day and when we got back to the Broadway Hotel (recommended by Eddie and the perfect place to stay) 8 hours after the tour started, we told the receptionists everything we’d done/seen in one day and they were astounded! We covered a lot of ground and felt like we saw everything we wanted to in our one wonderful day in The Cotswolds.
Despite their name, I believe Cotswolds Tours and Travel organise tours all over the UK - not just the Cotswolds - and I will definitely book them again next time we want to explore another beautiful part of the UK. Thank you Eddie, Mark, Katie …. And Jeremy Clarkson for putting in an appearance! My daughter will never forget this birthday.
