点评:This farm-to-table cooking class was amazing. George made us feel right at home, and had wonderful knowledge to share with us about the history of farming on Sifnos. We appreciated him sharing his family's history with farming, and how the current farm came to be/changed over the decades. We learned a lot about Sifnian cooking, and the history behind some of their most famous dishes. As a group, we made dolmades, while George and his wife Dina did the rest. While everything was cooking, we got a tour of the farm, and George explained how Sifnians farm without much water, which was really interesting. We got to pet his goats, see his orchard, and visit the chickens. We came back to an 8 course meal with appetizers, bread, dips, main courses, and desserts. Oh, and plenty of wine! And grappa. This was so much fun, and it was a highlight of our two weeks traveling around Greece.
