点评:We came here after watching Rick Stein’s “Culinary Adventure to Australia” where he visits the Three Blue Ducks. We just had to experience the ‘paddock to plate’ dining in Byron Bay.
The Farm is a joy to wonder through and farm shop has a generous selection of local produce.
Our experience at the Three Blue Ducks restaurant started really well with excellent service. My partner and I dined for lunch and shared the 9 course menu to try as many plates as possible. Priced at $95 per person, this was a fare price for the portions and quality of food until…
we were served RAW chicken. My partner told the waitress that we couldn’t eat the chicken as it was bloody and raw inside where we were told this has happened a couple times that day, that cooking chicken on the bone is difficult and that it had to be cooked twice.
My partner and I have a culinary background and deep appreciation for food and just couldn’t believe our experience went from good to bad. Nothing was done to compensate the error made. It was a shame as the starters were fabulous, the main dishes (except the chicken) were wonderful and the desert was excellent.
The undercooked chicken did dampen our experience. We feel that an experienced kitchen shouldn’t be making errors that could make people sick.

我和我的伴侣都懂烹饪,对美食也充满热情,我们简直不敢相信,原本美好的用餐体验竟然会变成如此糟糕的局面。餐厅也没有采取任何措施来弥补这个错误。真是可惜,因为开胃菜很棒,主菜(除了鸡肉)也很美味,甜点更是无可挑剔。
鸡肉没熟透确实影响了我们的用餐体验。我们认为,经验丰富的厨房不应该犯这种可能导致顾客生病的错误。
