Late December Fishing Euphoria

点评：Rudy, Christian and Joe made our trip to Costa Rica.
It was our first time to the country, and our first time fishing in the ocean - and the fishing was beyond excellent - but the skilled, kind, and respectable souls guiding us were the main ingredient of a rich experience we’ll not forget.
Joe patiently and deftly counseled my 17 year old son through an intense 1.5 hour battle with a 5’ 4” 160 pound (75 kilo) yellowfin tuna. The contented smile my son wore for the remainder of the day was priceless.
After quartering and cleaning that amazing fish, my 20 year old son caught 3 nice sailfish with Christian helpful and eager to line up the perfect pictures and carefully set each fish off to rest and recover for the next fight.
Seeing Mom and Dad pleased but nonetheless left out at the fighting chair, Rudy found a honey hole where two wonderful yellowfin would take the bait simultaneously, and the parents could put on quite a show for the teenagers.
God bless Rudy, Christian, and Joe and this beautiful country. We’ll be back. Pura vida!
