点评：Local distilleries are always on the top of my to-do list when I visit a town. Marlin and Barrel is no exception. I visited a number of years ago and was curious about how they were doing under new ownership. Due to a shortage of time, I only did a four item tasting ($10 for four 1/2 oz pours). I can highly recommend the lemon/lime cello for a summer afternoon. A little less sweet than regular Lemoncello and the additional pop of lime makes it highly refreshing. Their gin, while a little rough to drink straight, is very botanical. I'd recommend sampling it in a simple cocktail (G&T or Gimlet). The vanilla espresso rum was very tasty without getting too sweet. However, I couldn't figure out where I would use it other than in some Christmas eggnog. Their bourbon is a new product. It's smooth, quite acceptable, but undistinguished.
Bottle prices were normal ($25-$45).
My biggest complaint is that the new owners, A1A Spirits, use their logo on the bottles instead of the old M&B one. No other way to say it, but it makes the product look cheap and generic instead of a small-batch craft product. Unfortunate choice.
