点评:Beautiful church in the heart of Limassol. On a short holiday in Cyprus and desired to go to Mass on Sunday. 18.30 hrs mass was in English as unfortunately I do not understand Greek. Many Philippines helping and singing during the mass which I liked very much because they have a big heart, are all helpful and greet you as a true friend. One annoying action came from a begger that entered the church before, during and after mass asking for money in Greek. I found it seriously impossible to pray and very strange that everyone ignored him as if he was not there.. my blood was boiling as he was very persistent, he asked me 3 times for money and when I appologised for not understanding Greek he spoke in English and asked me for 50 cents. I was afraid for the safety of everyone inside the church as he kept walking up and down the isle. I cannot understand how there is no type of security service. There was a short scary moment that luckily the priest managed to handle just with a nod of the head and eye contact but it surely knocked my spiritual concentration. Probably it was just a fluke incident but this experience dented my near perfect experience at St Catherine's church here in Limassol.
