Last-Minute Cancellation, Poor Communication, and Ongoing Refund Issues

点评：We booked a vineyard bike ride with wine tasting through Tripix and planned our entire day — and much of our trip — around this experience. Unfortunately, Tripix cancelled the activity just three hours before it was scheduled to begin.
This last-minute cancellation left us scrambling and effectively wasted a full day of our trip. Because our itinerary had been structured around this event, it also disrupted other plans we had made for the following days.
What was most disappointing was the lack of meaningful customer service. We were offered no assistance with alternative arrangements, no recommendations, and no effort to help salvage the day — only a refund. Even that process was frustrating. They initially insisted on refunding via PayPal, which was not the method we used to pay. They would not process the refund directly back to our credit card. When the refund finally arrived, it was for less than the amount we originally paid. We have been told the remaining balance will be refunded, but we are still waiting.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. The combination of a last-minute cancellation, inflexible refund handling, and lack of proactive customer support reflects poorly on the company’s reliability. I would strongly caution others before booking with Tripix.
