Nice beer, shame about the dogs on tables.

点评：Had a very nice catch up and a couple of our favourite saltaire beers with an old friend. Space to sit inside and out and the guys on the bar were friendly and professional.
However, the expression 'give someone and inch and they will take a mile' fits perfectly here.
Dogs seem to have become acceptable in and outdoors everywhere nowadays and we can't do much about it. It has been a problem for myself and my wife in the past as we both have asthma.
We just have to deal with it. And hope customers with dogs that must be taken everywhere, have some respect.
But when did it become acceptable to not just let dogs in all establishments but also let them up on the chairs and even stand on the tables we have to sit at and try and enjoy our beer and perhaps a bite to eat.
This was the case on Saturday.
Complete disregard by the customer for non dog lovers feelings and frankly a disgraceful lack of hygiene and complete lack of respect for other people's feelings and health issues.
We've heard the 'oh he's a friendly dog and will just lick you to death' routine many times. We've also seen what else dogs lick.
It's disgusting and the otherwise attentive and friendly staff need a bit of retraining in our opinion.
Still nice beer though, which we'll unfortunately be buying from the supermarket in future.
Shame that. It was a good day before that.
