点评：We played this course in Englewood and overall had a decent experience, especially considering the price. It plays more like a par 3 course, with mostly par 3s and only a couple of par 4s, so it is great for a quick round or something more relaxed.
The setting is nice. It sits inside a gated community and feels more tailored to the residents, although it is open to the public at certain times. We were told that during parts of the year, especially when residents are away, it becomes more accessible to the public. There are homes throughout the course, which is expected in this type of community setup, but it still maintains a nice overall feel.
If I were to break it down:
* Ease of access, staff, check-in, and carts: 5/5. Very easy to get to, staff was friendly, check-in was smooth, and the carts were in great shape.
* Layout and surroundings: 4/5. Being in a gated community with homes around is not for everyone, but it fits the style of the course.
* Course conditions: 3/5. This is where it falls short.
The biggest drawback is the condition of the course. The greens were not in good shape, tee boxes were rough, and the fairways need attention. With the amount of water around the course, it feels like conditions could be much better, so there is definitely room for improvement here.
The biggest positive is still the value. We paid about $70 for nine holes with a cart, which is very reasonable.
Overall, I would give it a 3.5 out of 5. It has potential, and for the price it is still worth playing, which is why I would probably go back. With some TLC, especially on the greens and tee boxes, this could easily be a much stronger course.
