点评:This was the scariest experience of my life, but fun to think about since I survived! We decided to do it at night as we figured that was when we could see the glow worms the best. Don't do that! We were the only ones on the long, narrow, dark twisting road in a small rental car. It was very foggy and no phone reception. Once you get on this road, there doesn't seem to be a way to turn around so we drove for over an hour. We saw dozens of kangaroos and had to take caution not to hit them. It was extremely eerie seeing their shadows as the crossed the road. We came across a tunnel and it was pitch black and hard to tell if a car was coming from the other direction. Once we got there, it seemed like it was a short hike to the tunnel but the rain was coming down so heavily that we worried about a landslide and got the heck out of there. Our flight to Canada was the next day so we just wanted to get out safely. Would recommend but only during daylight hours on a clear day.
