点评：I was gifted a trip to St Andrews and a round with a PGA Pro.
Armed with clubs and a handicap index of 18.6, I arrived at The Centre of Golf Excellence feeling privileged, excited and completely out of my depth. Freddie Lawrence, with his infectious welcoming smile and comforting handshake, eliminated all negative nerves within the time a club is in contact with the ball.
The town of St Andrews radiates history and passion for golf and by the time Freddie had driven us to the Castle Course, my smile matched his.
It was such an inspiring, educational and thought-provoking experience. Freddie gave me so much encouragement, tips and tricks which have proved invaluable in my golf game as well as my everyday life.
Exchanging thoughts on various topics with a soupçon of banter was delightful. The whole day was top draw and made it easy for me to forget I had reached three score and ten.
I’m now huddled over my diary planning my next trip to The Home of Golf where hopefully Freddie will be able to introduce me to “The Old Lady”
I would have no hesitation in recommending The Centre of Golf Excellence to anyone wishing to play the beautiful game at the most revered golf town on the planet.
