点评:I went to visit the Oswald Rooming House Museum a few days ago. I spent two days visiting as many JFK related sites as possible in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. This stop was by far the most informative. We are generally informed of the JFK narrative. This was an exploration into Lee Harvey Oswald. The curator of the museum is Miss Pat Hall. She is a charming lady with first-hand knowledge and acquaintance of Mr. Lee (as she refers to Lee Harvey Oswald). Miss Pat's grandmother operated the rooming house when he lived there. Miss Pat spent time after school at the house with her siblings during that time as well. Walking into the house is taking a step back into 1963. The decor and furniture are as it was and full of memorabilia from the events that occurred. There are 2 ways to see the house. You can be part of an organized tour and go and spend about 5-10 minutes and then move on to the next stop on the tour. The other way is to make an appointment by calling 469-261-7806 and schedule a personalized tour with Miss Pat herself. There is a cost of $40 per person but you sit in the original living room on the original furniture, and you can spend up to 2 hours speaking with Miss Pat and asking question. Her perspective is unique, and so fun to talk to. For any JFK assassination junkie like me, this is well worth your time.
