Visited here with my 2 year old grandson this morning to be told he can’t eat his own lunch even though when I booked, I explained he had pku which is a disability and he’s under great Ormond street hospital for. I explained he couldn’t eat protein, egg, diary products and certain sweeteners and the manager told me she would do him a bowl of fruit. Like seriously 😡. I was going to be ordering lunch and drinks and I even said I would by him the fruit bowl if he could eat his pancakes that the hospital provides for him but she still said no he wasn’t aloud.
I left after an hour as it was pretty clear the receptionist and I’m assuming the manager kept looking over and talking, making me feel uncomfortable and as it was coming to lunch time he was getting hungry so had to have a snack in the car.
Before I left I asked if anyone had read my booking to which she said yes this morning, but didn’t have an answer as to why no one contacted me instead just told me to have a nice day in a quiet sarcastic manner 😒
