点评:I wrote a google review of this ‘cafe’ and the owner called me a five star Karen. Nothing like attacking instead of actually addressing the concerns.
We came to Meomi after spending the morning at a cat art class where my daughter worked on an art piece and interacted freely with the nine cats who shared the room. The art room was extremely clean and the cats flipped between doing their own thing and coming up to people for pats and treats.
We went from here to Meomi and it was like night and day. My overwhelming impression is that the cats were terrified and they shrunk away from anyone who tried to pet them. The only time the cats seemed to come near anyone was when the owner gave the crumbs of cat treats.
The atmosphere was also dominated by the owner. The room was pretty tiny so privacy was limited. What chance there was to spend time with my daughter was completely disrupted by the owner who sat in the middle of the room and involved himself in every conversation. He freely shared his feelings about Malaysia, Singapore and Australia - unwelcome and distracting from the purpose of our visit.
I can only compare this experience to my other animal cafe/studio experiences. In comparison this felt a little sweat shoppy and the owner’s hostility to my google review was kind of lame.
