Appallingly dirty and entry fee rip-off
自由海滩的点评
点评：Anyone giving this beach more than 1 star must not have visited any other beaches before. We were told that Freedom Beach is the most beautiful beach in Phuket. Given we are staying in a nearby hotel, we thought to take the steep bimble down. We did not expect to be charged 100 BHT per person for the paths 'upkeep and maintenance'. The condition of the path is anything but safe and the littering alongside disheartening.
Once we reached the beach after sliding along paths, mud, uneven steps and unsecured rocks we saw stunning clear water and white sand which was spoiled by the amount of rubbish as seen in photos of previous posts.
In terms of being charged for access - based on the crowds of people on the beach those guys at the top must make an absolute fortune, and I mean fortune!
Given the weather turned on us and as we did not fancy the unsafe, steep and slippery climb back to the top we decided to take a 4x4 tuktuk up for 100 BHT pp....possibly the best money spend although I clung onto life as the ride resembled more a roller-coaster ride without the safety belt.
Once we got back to the top we saw tours arriving for this s@#$hole of a beach and I could not help but feeling gratitude for only having spent 200 BHT per person for this experience.
A total and utter rip-off.
By the way, we have been greeted with nothing but kindness and courtesy by Thai people throughout our time here. Until today. The scammers of Freedom Beach were the rudest and most miserable people. Such a shame!

回到山顶后，我们看到一些旅行团也来到了这个破烂不堪的海滩，我不禁庆幸自己只花了200泰铢/人就体验了一把。
简直是彻头彻尾的骗局。
顺便说一句，我们在泰国期间遇到的泰国人都非常友善和礼貌。直到今天。自由海滩的那些骗子真是最粗鲁、最令人厌恶的人。太可惜了！
