自由海滩的点评
点评：Me and my partner went to freedom beach as we had seen to many exellent reviews.
When we arrived it was 100baht pp to use to "short cut" which took you to the beach. The man also gave us a free water after we paid.
Im not sure this was much of a short cut... we had flipflops on as did many other people and the path was awful! It was steep, rocky and slippy! There was a rope to hold onto, however only at certain parts. We are both young and fit however found this challenging
in the heat and rain. It took around 15 mins to get down!
Once we got there, the beach was fairly busy but was lovely and the sea was nice and warm! We sat on the sun loungers under an unberella under the impression this was free... based on other reviews. However a rude man came up and asked for 400baht to use them, obviously we paid as we didnt want to sit on the sand in the rain.
There was lots of ants around the loungers and we came away with several bites!
We didnt get a drink from the bar so am unable to comment on the prices!
The hike back up was even more of a challenge as it was so steep and exhausting which made it not an enjoyable experience.
We would much rather go to kamala or karon beach as this is so much more chilled!
