点评：Wow, ski resort closed in June! Hold the front page!
This was the whole point of our visit to Gréolières.
There’d been a lot of snow and as we ‘re local we knew in advance and drove up.
This is a very friendly (for the most part!) small resort. Quiet, even though in season.
We started with ski de fond (cross country), which was fine, except not much attention paid to sorting out ‘les traces’ and strange there were no benches to rest on any of the runs.
At the main station we loved the luge, 9€ for us both and an extra 2€ for a photo! Bargain of the century.
Called in at Le Chalet du Parc for drinks, but they wouldn’t let us have a table inside, only outside in the freezing cold.
They were half empty, just couldn’t be bothered, how very Gallic, but the rude waitress did shout ‘désolé’ as we left, so that’s ok.
Caféteria du Cheiron received us like old friends and we enjoyed our hot chocolates and beers in a welcoming place.
Overall a really lovely day.
