Bad Bus Experience with Roam Transit, Banff Canada

点评：We used the Roam Transit to go from Lake Louise to Banff and back. Going to Banff was great. Coming back from Banff was a disaster!! The bus arrives and leaves from Banff High School Transit Hub. When we got to the stop to leave Banff, there were a lot of people and already 2 buses at the stop. As those left others arrived. The digital sign showed how many minutes it would be for the bus to arrive - that is what we thought. That's the way the signs are at all bus/train stops in the U.S. As the time came and went, no bus to Lake Louise. The schedule we had showed the next & last bus would be at 9:40, but the sign changed and noted the next one would be 7:39. We figured there had been an issue and the 6:50 bus was running late. The sign also noted the Canmore bus would arrive at 7:39. At this time of night there is no one you can call. So we waited in the freezing cold for the 7:39 bus. No bus. We went to restaurant to wait for the last bus. When we went back to the bus stop there were no other buses and only a few people. We were about to sit down when we looked and saw the bus to Lake Louise was already parked farther up away from the bus stop. Had other buses been at the stop we would not have seen the Lake Louise bus!!!! We guessed the 6:50 bus must have been parked at the same place, but there was no way to see it with all the people around and 2 other buses at the stop. No one had advised the bus would be parked farther away than in front of the stop with the benches and overhang roof. When we were dropped off at the stop in front of the benches we specifically asked if this is where we should be to get the bus back - answer - yes. Nothing was said to us that the bus could be parked farther up. Just be very cautious and walk past the stop to see if your bus is parked farther up the street.
