点评：We spent several unforgettable days trekking with Local Trekkers Peru, including the incredible 4-Day Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, and it was an amazing experience from beginning to end.
One of the things we appreciated the most was traveling in a small group of only seven people, which made the experience much more personal and enjoyable. Our guide, Paul, was absolutely outstanding. His knowledge of Inca history, archaeology, and Peruvian culture brought every archaeological site to life. He was patient, encouraging, and always made sure everyone felt comfortable and supported throughout the trek. His passion for his work was evident every single day, and thanks to him we learned so much while having a great time.
The food was another highlight of the trip. We honestly couldn't believe the quality of the meals prepared in the middle of the mountains. Paulino, our chef, amazed us at every breakfast, lunch, and dinner with delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented dishes. Every meal exceeded our expectations and gave us the energy we needed for each day's hike. It is incredible what he is capable of preparing in such remote locations.
We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to the porters. Their strength, dedication, and positive attitude were truly inspiring. They worked incredibly hard every day, always greeting us with a smile and making sure everything was ready when we arrived at camp. Their efforts made this journey comfortable and unforgettable.
Reaching the Sun Gate and seeing Machu Picchu for the first time after four incredible days of hiking was an emotional moment that we will never forget. Every challenge along the trail was rewarded by breathtaking scenery, fascinating archaeological sites, beautiful cloud forests, and memories that will stay with us forever.
