点评：Finally went on a Caroni bird sanctuary tour with Kallos Tours guide as it was highly recommended by friends. The tour guide was super professional, knowledgeable and spoke very clearly. We were seated at the front of the boat but still heard and understood everything he was saying, as he was located at the back of the boat. He also had a few funny stories to tell. We enjoyed meeting Frankie and his mates!! Saw some amazing beautiful birds that we would not normally see inland even before we parked up to watch numerous scarlet ibis check in for the night, not to mention a large number of flamingos. This experience was enhanced with the famous pineapple chow while checking out the large number of cat fishes that could be clearly seen swimming around near the boat. Could see why people might find it tempting to reach in and pick one up which is a very dangerous thing to do. Did not see any snakes, which was a blessing for me.... Nevertheless a very enjoyable experience!! Feel proud that our island has so much magnificent beauty on offer!!
