"Open Day" Joke
The Ancient Ram Inn的点评
点评：My partner and I visited the Ram Inn Wotton-under-Edge during their so called "open day".
She had visited a few weeks earlier. after firstly checking their website to confirm opening times. It states (and still states) that they are open Monday to Friday from 0900hrs-1600hrs. After a two hour journey she found the place was closed, even though their website was still saying that it was open.
We were greeted by a lovely lady dressed in a witches costume who guided us through into a barn. I would imagine most of the staff are volunteers. Overall, we found that the venue was very interesting. However, the interior was filled full of cheap and tacky Halloween tat which TBH spoilt the experience. As we went from room to room, there were people, mainly staff, sitting aroung chatting and eating as if it were some sort of social outing. Most of the other visitors were groups of amateur paranormal investigators and seemed to take over the place. We, and others we spoke to, felt as if we were "in the way" and not welcome. We would have liked to have had a chance to look at the displayed items, but couldn't because of the lack of space taken up by these groups. Forgive me but I thought that this was an open day for punters like me to meander at our leisure and take in the decrepit ambiance of what was on offer. Our visit was far from this.
In a nutshell, a poorly executed so called "open day" with unprofessional staff who clearly were only interested in seeing out their day.

简而言之，……一次举办得很糟糕的所谓“开放日”，工作人员毫无专业素养，显然只想着混完一天而已。整个活动组织得也很糟糕。
