A Beautiful Lakeside Spot to Relax and Enjoy Local Snacks
蒂瑟默哈拉默湖的点评
点评：Tissa Wewa in Tissamaharama is one of my all-time favourite lakeside places, and somewhere I always love returning to. The road runs beside the lake, offering beautiful, open views. You can park under the shade of the trees, and there were no parking fees during our visit.
The cool breeze coming across the water feels wonderful. Morning and evening are the best times to enjoy the scenery, especially for a peaceful break. Spending an evening here, enjoying the view and some delicious snacks, is my favourite way to relax.
Small shops sell tea, snacks, soft drinks and bottled water, and there are a few ice cream sellers too. My personal favourites are the deep-fried crispy lake fish, korali, and the tiger prawn wade. Both are delicious and perfect to enjoy by the lake!
One practical point for travellers: we didn’t find any toilets available, so plan ahead.
A lovely place for beautiful lake views, tasty local food and a calm, relaxing atmosphere. I would happily visit again and again!
