点评：Doing the 4 days/3 nights tour, sailing down the Sekonyer River, was a deeply moving and unforgettable experience.
A symphony of sounds. Wild nature unfolding. Animals in their natural habitat — and yet so very close. I was a humble visitor in their world.
Falling asleep to the choir of the forest.
Moon and stars watching over us.
Waking up before the sun, as the animals began to stir.
Meeting people protecting their land and its future, and locals living under very simple conditions, yet with a spirit that shines so brightly.
An extraordinary ecosystem under immense pressure — yet filled with life, beauty, and resilience.
Seeing the cheeky orangutans, the funny-looking long-nosed monkeys, sailing into the black-water swamp, watching eagles above, and so much more, was truly special.
Our guide, Andreas, and the boat crew took wonderful care of us — always smiling, singing, and alert for animals along the river.
Andreas’ deep connection to the area made all the difference. Thanks to him, we experienced not only the wildlife and nature, but also the people. The food on board was exceptional — three delicious meals a day, beautifully prepared in a tiny kitchen.
