点评:It's been a year since we visited but the memory of this place still haunts me every now and again. Firstly, the positives, absolutely stunning grounds, genuinely so so beautiful everywhere you look. The wines were okay, not to my taste but that's down to personal preference so not really an issue. We ordered some food which took ages to arrive. This was after we had struggled to get the attention of anyone to place an order. People were around us getting served but when we flagged a waitress down politely asking to order they said they'd return but didn't. Still alright, I understand it gets busy. We had seen people who arrived after us get similar food to what we ordered before us, we had to chase them down a few times. When the food arrived, in our charcuterie board was a live maggot in the food, seen wiggling out of the fruit. I let someone know at the front desk that we found a maggot and asked for them to check their stock of grapefruit, in case there was some sort of infestation. Brought 2 waitresses to the table to show them and they said 'well we are a biodynamic vineyard so extra critters sometimes happen, and in some cultures they eat bugs'. I said totally understand but this is a maggot and we would like a refund (did not even for the whole order just the board). And they kept offering a bottle of wine instead of a refund to which I politely declined twice. Took a while to get the refund because they couldn't track down which our order was as they needed the exact time of the order (which we couldn't see on our banking app due to lack of signal). So the waitress ended up huffing and using her vape in front of us then slammed the cash on the table and said 'here - just take this'. It will forever be a funny memory to us (including my friend who took a bite out of the grapefruit with the maggots) :)
