点评:I really like this mall. It’s not prestigious or flashy—just practical and unpretentious. It doesn’t try to impress with overpriced luxury shops or over-the-top design. It’s refreshingly different from the cookie-cutter malls that seem to pop up all over Manila, often at the cost of green space.
This mall has what people actually need: bargain shops that make sense in a city as expensive as BGC. The bathrooms, while not fancy and a bit in need of an update, are clean. Each floor has something new to discover, and wandering through the different shops is genuinely enjoyable.
Sadly, it’s slated to be torn down, replaced by something newer and fancier—another glossy structure that may end up being too expensive for the everyday people who actually use it. It’s frustrating to see unique, affordable spaces disappear like this.
Still, I really appreciate what this mall is. It stands out in a sea of sameness. It reflects something real about the Philippines—practical, resourceful, full of life.
And let’s not forget the grocery store in the basement—it’s fantastic.
You can get everything here: a manicure, passport photos, ice cream, toiletries, folders, dishes, clothes, vet services, banking, restaurants, even movies. It’s a one-stop shop kind of place. A great place to explore, and one I’ll miss when it’s gone.
