点评：There were 6 of us who traveled from Calgary en route to Whitefish for 4 days of golf meeting up with 14 others. The 6 of us decided to go a day early and golf a round at Wilderness Club. T times were booked for 1:20pm June 5th, 2024. I was a little taken back by the price of $175 usd each (highest any of us had paid to golf in Montana) but it is highly rated in Montana. We got to the 1st green and could not see any balls on the green because they had been recently air rated and covered in fine white sand. No mention of this in the pro shop. The entire front 9 greens were the same. The real issues came on the back 9. There were no flags on any of the greens at all. If we could find a hole on the green there were no cups in the holes. 2 of the holes we could not find any hole at all. The sand was so thick there were small wind 'dunes' on the greens. The holes we did find were completely filled with sand. The foursome behind us (also from Calgary) quit after the 11th hole. The foursome behind them were threatening to do donuts on the greens with their golf carts. Not sure if they did. There was no starter and no marshall anywhere. We persevered to the end. Once we got back to the pro shop at 5:00pm the doors were locked and no one was there. The one person in the restaurant gave us the phone number of a manager from the club (someone named Kimo). We all called the number and all left a voicemail but no calls were ever returned. This is insulting and anyone involved at the Wilderness Club should be ashamed and fired immediately. If I was a member there, I would file a law suit. I strongly advise NEVER GOLFING THERE. We sure won't.
