Old Queens Head的点评
点评：A pub I always look forward to visiting on any trip to Chester I take is The Old Queens Head Pub, been here many times over the years, always had a good time and so it proved on our latest visit to here.
A great looking pub, interior is superb, a solid wood serving bar dominates the main room, pubby decor and furnishings, big screens to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub and all housed in a wonderful looking building, its just a really good pub to unwind in.
We were here on a bitterly cold February afternoon, pub was busy with a great atmosphere, we ordered beers from Carling Brewery, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling, we chilled out, warmed up and planned out the day ahead while sipping our beers.
My beer was really good, a golden lager style beer, when this beer is served freezing cold as in this pub its such a delicious beer indeed, it was just so good being in such a lovely pub enjoying a delicious beer and sat with my twin brother, best beer companion in the world.
We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to The Old Queens Head Pub we had a great time.
The Old Queens Head Pub is easy to locate along Foregate Street.
Opening hours are;
Monday to Sunday, open from 11am.
Well worth checking out if you're in the area or planning a trip to Chester.
