点评：Having been in the wine industry for 17 years, we have been to numerous tastings. Recently we have been looking for more unique experiences with food and wine pairing. Davis Winery delivers on both counts. Tyler was the consummate host, he was knowledgeable, yet down-to-earth. He made our family feel immediately at ease.
We were treated to their Cellarium Experience by the owners of Levendi winery. It is normally reserved for Founder’s Members and their guests only. From the moment we stepped into the vault-like room in the middle of the cave, we were blown away. We feasted our senses on art and music, dramatic chandelier, mood lighting, and the sheer beauty of the space. We have dined at some Michelin restaurants and this food certainly is comparable. Not only is the presentation flawless, there was an explosion of flavors in our mouths. Each course was better than the next, starting from the Burrata and ending with the Wagyu beef with truffle port sauce. The timing of the courses were like an orchestra.
We can say this experience easily tops all others, including the food and wine experience at Mondavi and Kendall Jackson. It felt exclusive but never stuffy. Davis wines were phenomenal and the food was culinary perfection. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a one-of-a-kind experience in Napa Valley.
