Johnny's California Shuttle Service的点评
点评：We had planned to call a Yellow Cab when we arrived at Long Beach Airport to take us to the Catalina Express so we could go to Catalina Island for a few days. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the airport and called the cab, they said they could not tell us how long it would be...it could be a short time or several hours and we would just have to wait until they called us back when they had a cab available. There were no taxis anywhere at the airport, but fortunately someone from Johnny's California Shuttle Service was there and offered to take us to catch the Catalina Express. We had to be there by 1 o'clock to catch the only shuttle to Catalina Island and waiting around for an unlimited amount of time for a cab was not an option. Johnny sent a wonderful large clean van that comfortablely carried four adults and all our luggage to our destination and we didn't have to wait very long for it to pick us up. Our driver was Johnny (he said he wasn't the same Johnny that owns the company) but he was extremely nice and we asked him if he could pick us up again when we returned from Catalina Island a few days later and take us to LAX to catch our flight. He agreed so we made a reservation and he gave us a discount because it was less expensive if we booked round trip transportation. Sure enough, they contacted us when we returned to go to LAX airport and we were there in plenty of time to catch our flight. I would highly recommend this method of transportation and I'm sure we will use it again the next time we are in the area. Trying to save a few bucks by using a regular unreliable taxi service would have been a costly mistake.
