Sydney Harbour New Years Fireworks
Bass and Flinders Cruises的点评
点评：We were staying in Sydney for New Year and looked around to do a harbour cruise due to the expected large crowds and the expectation that we would have to get to any of the viewing areas early in the day.
After looking around and emailing several of the advertised cruises, we opted to book with Bass and Flinders last minute.
They had two boats on offer and we opted for the smaller boat (NTW Allen) which was by far the better option.
We arrived at the dock for the advertised time and my only issue was that there was no signage for our cruise at the dock
Which caused us some concern. This however I feel was because of the volume of boats coming in and out of the dock for their cruises.
As advertised, both boats arrived and as I have said previously, the smaller boat (NTW Allen) was by far the better option.
Boarding was easy and we were welcomed with drinks and thereafter there was an open bar for alcohol and soft drinks.
The food (canapés) kept coming so as long as you are not expecting a full dinner, you will not be disappointed. Party hats and streamers were handed out to add to the party atmosphere.
The staff were amazing and I cannot speak highly enough of our captain / skipper.
He managed to get us a front row view for the 9pm family fireworks and thereafter main event at midnight. We even had champagne to see in the new year.
Although, I had concerns this maybe a scam, I cannot fault any of it and would highly recommend this cruise / company.
Although a lot more people could have been on the boat, there was no more than 70 which made it feel intimate and not overcrowded.
Well done and excellent experience and memory and although not a cheap option, I do think this was value for money and a great memory for my family
