Busy, expensive ripoff.
Gumbuya World Theme Park的点评
点评：Pros:
Large site with good selection of experiences, theme park rides and waterpark.
Cons: Far too busy, queue times were ridiculous and the ride operators were slow in each changeover.
Greedy operator. Not cheap to get in and then they try to rob you at every step thereafter. You can’t bring your own food (apparently because of their health and sustainability goals 🙄) but then you can of course buy their overpriced, nutrient-poor offerings such as chips, donuts and fairy floss). Lockers in the watermark are $22! for something big enough to fit more than a pair of shoes. Fancy trying the wave rider machine? You’ll pay extra for that…
The park was desperately overcrowded, the staff were clearly struggling to maintain order. The water in the park was so cold that people were visibly shivering whilst using the play areas. Obviously the vast revenue streams aren't being spent on water heating.
The changing facilities are far too small to cope with the visitor numbers they allow. They were dirty and smelled horrible.
My son generally had a good time, but then he is 8 so not worried in the slightest about the value for money element. That said, even he was happy to leave, and that really is saying something.
My personal advice - spend your money elsewhere. This place only wants your money and cares not for your experience.
