点评：Fantastic kayak down the River Coura: 6km total.
Meet at their main office in Caminha and they drive you up the river, around 10 minutes, to the starting point on the river bank.
Lockers are free at their building and useful for change of clothes - recommended.
Guides provide a pre-brief and then lead and follow the group.
River is narrow to start with, which adds a bit of dynamic kayaking and widens towards the end.
The kayaks are two person sit on, with the usual holes for buoyancy so your bum will get wet… so wear something suitable.
A bottle of water is provided per person.
After 4km of narrow river, you stop for a 10-15 min rest on the river bank, where you can swim if you wish.
The last 2km is on a slightly wider part and ends at the pier outside their office.
Very easy tour… suitable for beginners. River is shallow in most parts and slow flowing.
Chances of seeing kingfishers.
Highly recommended and would go back for further tours next time we visit.
