Molly Pitcher Brewing Company的点评
点评：For the past several years, we have eaten at Molly Pitcher while in town for the annual Corvette parade thru the streets of Carlisle, which is a feature of the annual "Corvettes @ Carlisle" show.
In prior years, the restaurant was not overly crowded and we were able to order dinner and a few beers and still have plenty of time for the parade. However, this year was completely different. When we arrived, the bar area was very busy. We requested for seating on the outside patio and were able to snag the last available table. Our server told us we could order drinks, but did not know if the kitchen would be able to make any food - if they could, they were out of fried chicken, burgers and bacon and she would update us in about 20 minutes. She eventually came back and said we could order food, but they still have a burgers left.
Our food eventually arrived - I ordered a burger, my wife a Cuban sandwich. Our friends ordered a burger and a fish platter. The burgers looked and tasted like they were cooked several hours beforehand and reheated. The Cuban sandwich did have bacon, even though the server said they were out. After our food arrived, a sign was posted on the door = "Bar open, Kitchen closed".
The restaurant should have anticipated the crowds for this event. It is always busy for this particular event, and they have been in business for a few years.
We will definitely look for a new place to eat while in Carlisle.
