点评：Zapotrek was the highlight of our trip to Mexico. Eric and team were absolutely incredible - local, knowledgeable, generous. We were met at each part of the trek by different locals who joined us and were unerringly friendly and insightful.
It was a long day (12 hours in the end!) as it was extremely hot and slow going. We started at a local market for breakfast (where Eric knew everyone) and tried all sorts of amazing Mexican dishes. We then hiked up to Hierve el Agua with a stop at a local restaurant for the most incredible quesadilla. It's hard to put into words the experience, but it felt like we were seeing more of the real Oaxaca, giving something directly to the community, and learning so much about Zapotec culture and life.
I even lost my camera lens cap on the hike, and Eric and co found it the next day and posted it forward to me in Puerto Escondido!
If you're looking for a tour in Oaxaca, this is the one!
