点评：On the North Shore of Oahu, there is an area within Pūpūkea Beach called Sharks Cove that is known as one of the best places for snorkeling. There are no sharks here. Rather, its name comes from the rock formations that make it look like a shark from above. It is in a marine conservation district and is known for its diverse marine life including parrotfish and sea turtles.
Shark’s Cove is rocky, has sharp lava rock tide pools and a depth of up to 20 feet. To reach it, you must walk down a steep dirt path, so it is important to wear water shoes with traction. The best time to snorkel is during the summer months because the waves are calmer. We were there in late March and the swells were high. During the summer months, it gets quite crowded. To beat the crowds and get a parking spot get there early. There are not many signs indicating its locations. It located across from the Foodland and food trucks.
